ABSTRACT:
“Evidence-centered design” is a disciplined approach to developing large-scale assessments that focuses on being able to generate the required evidence to support a claim.  How does ECD differ from good general test development practices?  How are people across the nation implementing ECD?  What are the most challenging aspects of implementing ECD effectively?
