    SUMMARY:
Fundamental to achieving college and career readiness is the notion that education is most effective when curriculum, assessment and learning, and teaching are aligned. This session looks at how the Center for the Future of Arizona (CFA) implemented an innovative internationally benchmarked aligned instructional system to achieve college and career readiness for all students. CFA did this under the authority of AZ's Move on When Ready (MOWR) program and in partnership with 30+ Arizona public and charter schools. With the Cambridge program, MOWR schools have seen significant improvement in student achievement and closing of the achievement gap. This session will also showcase two schools experiencing significant turnaround in student performance upon using Cambridge. Rockledge High School saw their school go from C to B and A in the Florida Accountability system. Imagine Prep Surprise (AZ), part of the MOWR, saw their school go from C to a B.
